Alberta MP Hon. Blake Richards joins Heather Leung and Team in Our Riding

The MP for Banff - Airdrie, the Honourable Blake Richards, Shadow Cabinet Minister for Small Business, Export Promotion and Tourism, visited Heather Leung in Burnaby North - Seymour.

Mr. Richards and Heather Leung personally viewed the site in Burrard Inlet above the Trans Mountain Westridge Marine Terminal, which has been conducting operations for petroleum exports for over 60 years without a single oil spill caused as a result of marine tanker loading.

The interview, by News Anchor Paul Arthur, is with Dr. Ross McKitrick, Professor of Economics at the University of Guelph and a regular contributor to publications by The Fraser Institute. The interview discusses a recent report commissioned by Environment and Climate Change Canada which stated that Canada has warmed twice as quickly at the rest of the planet since 1948. Dr. McKitrick wrote a corresponding article published in The Financial Post titled: "Hold the Panic … Canada just warmed 1.7 degrees C and thrived."
